OraMD Direction Usage

NOTICE!

OraMD® is an all in one product that works most effectively if it is not used in conjunction with other products. OraMD® replaces toothpaste, mouthwash, and breath fresheners. Using other products at the same time will diminish intended results. EXCEPTION: Whiteners can be used before using OraMD®. Never use anything after brushing with OraMD®.

• As toothpaste, floss first then put 2-3 drops on your toothbrush (soft bristle or electric brushes best) and brush at least twice a day with OraMD®. It is not necessary but is OK to rinse with water.
  
• As a mouthwash, put 2 drops in 1-2 ounces of water and gargle to help eliminate bacteria on the back of the tongue.
  
• As a breath freshener, 1-2 drops on the tip of your tongue and coat all parts of your mouth, especially along the gum line.
  
• For relief of discomfort of bleeding gums, gum disease, gingivitis, pockets and other gum problems, brush and gargle twice daily. Also put 2 drops on the tip of your tongue 3 times during the day to coat the gum line and the rest of the mouth. This is especially important a few minutes after eating.
  
• For receding gums, in addition to brushing, apply 2-3 drops to the affected area and massage your gum line to work the oil deep down. (Do not scrub gum line while brushing)
  
• Make sure using OraMD® is the last thing you do before going to bed. Use 3-5 drops and let the product work throughout the night. This is especially important for optimal results.
  
• OraMD® does not discolor nor whiten teeth, as it does not contain abrasives. If you feel you need whitening, we recommend brushing with baking soda when needed in the morning BEFORE using OraMD®. • OraMD® is safe and recommended for children age 6 and over. You may want to start with just one drop or dilute with water.
  
• OraMD® is effective at fighting cavities, plaque, and tarter build up.
  

POINTS TO TAKE NOTE

To use, take the cap off and turn the bottle upside down (180˚). Always seal the bottle after using it. Do not expose OraMD® to heat or leave the cap off for long periods of time as it will diminish potency. There are approximately 383 drops in a bottle of OraMD®. Using 2 drops twice a day to brush will last about 95 days, or 3 months per bottle.

INITIAL EFFECT

The first few times you use OraMD® you may find that it is a little stout. The initial potency can be overwhelming to some at first, as the OraMD® is actively killing off the hidden bacteria. Stick with it! After the initial 3-4 days, it will calm down and the fresh clean feeling will be something you will look forward to each day. The benefits this great product brings with continued use are well worth it. OraMD® is a formulation of 100% pure botanical oils of peppermint, spearmint and almond.
Results vary depending on your condition. You may see early improvements in bleeding gums, redness, soreness and swelling, but significant problems like gum recession and pockets may improve over several months.
